TC Belfast launch new Work Programme

Teen Challenge Belfast are delighted to announce the launch of a new 'Back to Work' Programme initative which focuses on helping to provide a platform to help men and women returning from Teen Challenge residential centre or have recently came to the faith and now want to make steps to help get themselves back in to work.

Currently the programme is running one day a week but Teen Challenge Belfast hopes this will be extended in the near future. Every week those taking part in the programme carry out a range of jobs and tasks within the local community such as cutting grass, hedges and maintanence of various Church grounds etc. Participants will also assist local community residents who have been referred to us, who need odd jobs completed around their homes such as building fences and painting & decorating.

This initative provides an opportunity for those taking part not only to give them something to do, but to make a contribution to the local community and provide a basis from which to aspire to and lead the participants back into full time employment.  May we ask for your prayers that the Lord will bless this programme for his glory, that those in need will be able to have jobs done for them, that people may come to know Christ through the deeds of this initative.

New Women's Coffee Morning Launched

Teen Challenge Belfast are delighted to announce the launch of a new Womens Coffee Morning every Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Teen Challenge Belfast headquarters on the Albertbridge Road.  This outreach is to allow the women of the local area to come into us and enjoy a relaxed time with some of the Teen Challenge volunteers and provides a great opportunity to let women in the community know about what Teen Challenge Belfast are doing in the local community.

This morning outreach will also provide a communication forum to discover the needs of the local community and assess the ways in which Teen Challenge Belfast can endeavor to make a significant contribution to help and make a difference across the city of Belfast.
